Honestly

My blogging has come to a near stand still. Why? Because my azz been over on FaceBook and Twitter and YouTub living it up. *chuckle* I'm on FB everyday and I check my "tweets" often as well. I just haven't felt like putting in the time to sit down and write a bunch of stuff about myself, ESPECIALLY when I've already written it on FB and included pics. Plus The Daughters of Destiny are on FB as well and I update that too, along with the Mr. Not to mention my Twitter account AND YouTube, so poor blogger had been neglected. *crying*

In other news, the home "un"schooling is coming along. I constantly have to retrain myself to not be so regimented and overly structured because the girls are NOT in a 8am to 3pm class room and I don't HAVE to teach a curriculum approved by the government/state. I do beat myself up because I'm super paranoid about the girls not "learning enough" which I know is ridiculous. Living outside the box ain't easy, that's for sure.

Aside from me hanging out over on FB, I've been feeling more creative in the kitchen too. Sometimes I get so into what I'm cooking that I don't think to write it down or catch it on camera. Thus it's only shared with the hubby and the Daughters of Destiny. I am starting or rather I HAVE started a new cooking blog. I still have the other hair/cooking blog but that's just only going to be about hair and mostly that of the DOD. Since I use all these different products and have this lengthy azz process for washing, conditioning, and styling the girls hair, I figured I may as well share. I'm waiting for the hubby to help me out with the cooking blog since that's in WordPress.

Well, that's about it for now. Life in the desert is still the same, not as hot as it was when we moved here in July but the weather is still nice and sunny with a FEW clouds here and there.
